emwerk was spun off from the dental investment materials division of DeguDent GmbH (formerly Degussa Dental), a DentsplySirona International Inc. company in May, 2015, and refounded as an independent company. The new company has taken over the headquarters and former DeguDent production plant in Bohmte. All know-how carriers and technologies have been implemented into the emwerk.
